However, during the actual utilization process, the sand dryer machine has something wrong with its end tail. Except for the factors of material, kiln coating and ring forming, the tail vacuum of sand rotary dryer is also related with the factors like exhaust system and resistance of pre-heater and tertiary air duct, etc. When the tail vacuum is at lower level, the tail temperature would not be much higher.

The form, length and temperature of flame and the location of coal pipe in sand dryer machine all can influence the tail temperature. When the combustion value is higher than 60% but no more than 100%, the unburned coal powder will naturally fall or mix with raw material into the sand dryer machine for another burning. The second burning will cause the tail temperature rise.

Since the high tail temperature of rotary sand dryer is harmful to the service life of thermocouple, it is very difficult to measure the detailed temperature. To maintain the service life of thermocouple and get probable tail temperature, users can take some places as test points, which are hard to be influenced by extreme high temperature and scouring force of material. If the thermocouple has skinning outside, users should make regular cleaning for showing the real temperature. If the sealing device in the tail of sand dryer machine is battered seriously, the sealing effect will be poor and the temperature will be low.
