To reduce the production cost of dryer, the heat source must be strictly controlled. Now, there are many kinds of heat sources used in dryer, and heat dryer used in dryer has a direct impact on drying costs. Dryer heat sources are a variety of combustion products (coal, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, flammable chemical gas), combustion products with air, steam, hot water and electrical energy. The selection of heat sources for dryer has many issues should be considered:

1. Under the premise of ensuring quality of dried, according to to-be-dried material and quality requirements of dried materials, make analysis for the cleanliness of heating temperature and heat. In addition, ensure that the heat is easy to control, so as to guarantee the stability of the drying.

2. Heat source should be easy to purchase, select heating materials with proper local conditions, not only take all kinds of heat cost, but also consider whether such fuel is easily available.

3. The security of heat source is more important for direct-fired heat source. For some flammable, explosive or easily oxidized to-be-dried materials, choosing an indirect heat source is better for processing these materials, and direct-fired heat source should have special flame or explosion protection measures.

4. The heat source must be in line with the requirements of environmental protection, some burning heat will produce odors or fumes in the combustion process, pollution emissions to the atmosphere will produce contaminate, such heat sources should be used with caution by supporting different dust collection equipment.

Now, drying equipment is new environmental equipment, and its drying attainment is better than all of past drying equipment, but how to play excellent features of drying machine? This needs learning and research of all using manufacturers.
